I'll See You Again
When the morning bird stops by my door
In the rumpled sheets on my bed,
In the cactus by my window sill,
In the summer breeze I'll see you again.
When I walk down the alleyway-
Where the road takes a gentle turn
In the gust of wind through my hair,
I'll see you in the pouring rain.
I'll see you in the setting Sun,
Seeping through my curtain blinds.
In the folds of notebooks frail and old,
In the wilted flower I'll see you again.
In the end, when I close my eyes
As the world around me goes to sleep,
On the other end of the dazzling light,
I hope that I'll see you again.
