Lost
I’m lost somewhere Between phases and dimensions- Searching for something that ceases to be, While neglecting what the future awaits. Holding on to the one that’s faded into oblivion, While letting go of everything that binds me to the ground. Living in illusions, while reality knocks down the door, Between me and the world that raises its claws- To tear down another soul that fails to fight back. I’m hiding somewhere, Behind the veil of hope: A vain curtain to the dangers that tomorrow has in stock. And when the winds of time storm past me, I’d know, That the end is near.
